RenderX released XEP version 4.0 October 8, 2004 Through Axos you can get XEP 4.0 with many new features such as:
The new configuration interface. Groups all configuration in a single file; permits a more natural management of fonts and hyphenation patterns. Automatic table layout. Collapsing table borders. Spot and Pantone colors. LZW support in GIF and TIFF, support of interlaced GIFs. Ligaturization: adjacent symbols are presented as ligatures if defined in the font. Only ligatures defined in Unicode will be processed at this stage. Ligated characters should
be coded so that the resulting PDF remains searchable (that is, searching for "fl" finds all f+l ligatures). Support for TrueType collection (TTC) fonts. Some prepress features: registration marks, trim marks, control of bleeds and other rectangles. |
