XEP Editions and Features

XEP is available in several editions: Trial, Client, Developer, and Server. All editions share the same core formatting engine, and provide consistent rendering quality.

Client editions come with a number of optional interfaces and auxiliary components which make it easy to use XEP with popular XML editors and development environments.

Server and Developer editions offer a dedicated support by the RenderX team as well as the API documentation and examples. They are designed for the developer, vertical integration and corporate use of XEP.

Academic edition is a free version of the Client edition of XEP. It is granted to universities, academic institutions, and non-profit non-governmental organizations.

Client and Developer editions have a discounted stamped form; they offer the same functionality but a stamp is added to each page of the output with links to RenderX and the XSL-FO Recommendation.
